Welcome to my Recipe Book! This page has some recipes I've found or made that I think are really yummy-looking.
I also included some crafts and other goodies that I think would fit my recipe page.
I hope you enjoy! Let me know if anyone has tried one of these recipes or any others that I should write down!

Salty Meals

Amari's Special Curry

  • Beef or steak
  • Yellow or white onion
  • Any type of potato
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Garlic
  • Medium hot or hot curry roux
  • Basmati rice (or short-grain!)
  • Pepper & salt
  • Enough water to cover the ingredients
  • Optional fried or boiled egg
Directions
  1. Chop up the vegtables and meat into bite sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a pot or rice cooker, cook the rice as directed on the package.
  3. In another pot, cook the onions, garlic, celery, carrots, and potatoes until the onions are translucent in some neutral oil.
  4. Add the cubed meat in with the vegtables and stir-fry for another few minutes until the meat is browned.
  5. Leave to fry for another minute, before covering with water and simmering.
  6. Stir occasionally, skimming the top periodically until the vegtables are softened to your liking and the meat is cooked.
  7. Turn off the heat and stir in the curry roux, seasoning with pepper and salt to taste.
  8. Serve with the rice and an optional fried or soft boiled egg on top. Enjoy!

Garlic Shrimp Pasta

  • Any type of pasta (capellini recommended!)
  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined!)
  • Butter (salted recommended!)
  • Garlic
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

    Desserts

    Asian Parfait (Featured in Chocomimi!)

    Ingredients
    • 19g Coconut milk powder
    • 75ml Hot water
    • 14g Sugar
    • 37.5g Glutinous rice flour
    • 19ml Water
    • 28g Mini tapioca
    • Two scoops vanilla ice cream
    • One mango
    • One banana
    • Two pineapple rings
    • 14g Cooked red beans (or nuts!)
    • 28g Black sugar syrup (or chocolate!)
    Directions
    1. Dissolve the coconut powder and sugar in hot water. Cool in the refrigerator.
    2. Cook the tapioca in boiling water for 15 minutes, making sure to fill it enough to cover. Drain and rinse.
    3. Add 19ml of water to the glutinous rice flour and knead until it's a soft dough.
      Form ten balls and cook in boiling water until they float to the surface.
      After, cook for an extra two minutes before removing and draining/rinsing.
    4. Cut fruit up into bite-sized pieces.
    5. Pour coconut milk, tapioca, and rice balls into a serving dish of your choice,
      then add the ice cream and red bean/nuts. Lastly, top with
      the fruits and syrup. そしてパフェは完成です!

    Sakusaku Chocolate Chip Buns

    Sweety Butter Apple Pie

    Ingredients
    • 625g flour
    • One stick of cubed cold butter (salted recommended!)
    • A pinch of sugar
    • Two eggs
      Apple Filling
    • Three medium-large sized apples (peeled and sliced)
    • 30g sugar
    • 28g of butter (salted recommended!)
    • A dash of cinnamon
    • A pinch of cloves
    • A sprinkle of ginger
    Directions
    1. In a bowl or surface, combine the flour, butter, eggs, and sugar. Knead until the dough is malleable.
    2. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes in a refrigerator, and once cooled seperate into two balls.
    3. With one ball, place flour on your surface and flatten it out to about 20.32cm (8 inches!), place in your pie pan!
    4. Poke many holes in the bottom of the crust with a fork, and prebake for 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F!)
    5. While the bottom crust pre-bakes, in a pot place the sliced apples, butter, and sugar inside, and cook until the apples become syrupy.
    6. Once warm and syrupy, turn off the heat and sprinkle in your spices.
    7. When the bottom crust is finished, take out of the oven and place the apple filling inside, there should be a bit of room from the top!
    8. With the second ball, roll out and place on top of the pie, remembering to crimp the edges and cut holes in the top.
    9. Bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the apple filling bubbles. Enjoy!

    Strawberry Milk Compote

    Ingredients
    • Strawberries (as many as you'd like!)
    • Sugar (as much as you like!)
    • Lemon juice (Optional)
    Directions
    1. Wash and hull strawberries before smashing or blending them.
    2. Once smashed, stir or blend in sugar, seasoning to taste.
    3. Add strawberry compote to any drink, adding lemon for teas!
    4. **You may heat up the strawberry compote to turn it into strawberry preserves!
    5. **Also try infusing the preserves with teas or spices like chamomile or basil!
