THE SHRINE OF MY WEIRD GAME OBSESSION

I guess it was time to make a shrine for The Neverhood sigh...BOY DO I HAVE A PROBLEM
Now I have no idea how in the FREAK I found out about this, but I still really like it. Why do I like it though? Aside from anime I enjoy all types of animation,
and stopmotion is my favorite out of the other types, not to mention the designs of the characters are so SILLY.
I also think it's really funny that an anime lover like me is obsessed with the most un-anime game in the world (ガンホッケー is another story).

What's the story, though? It's a puzzle game and you basically have to stop the stinky villain goober Klogg from taking over the Neverhood and return it to Hoborg,
the creator who's literally a demigod. You play as Klaymen, a silly little clay man who was born the second you open the game, so as he goes about
his surroundings with the help of Willie's discs and mail, you complete puzzles to stop Klogg from taking control.

I couldn't find any pictures so here's Klaymeb in the first room

I have no idea why I'm even making this page because it looks bad but I guess it's helping me figure out coding,
by the way did I mention how absolutely fire this OST is? (Klaymen's theme is the BGM :3c)

This is Willie he is scrunko and haha silly
he likes to eat heavy machinery and chip butty

God I love this game's style :D Sure, some of the puzzles are really dumb, but the story and characters make up for it :D Its sequel Skullmonkeys
is also a pretty good game also with good animation, but it's a platformer instead of a point-and-click game.

After these two games we got a spiritual successor called Armikrog, and while the characters are really scrunkly and the music is AWESOME,
its puzzles really lack along with the general story and bugs. I don't really mind it though because it was a kickstarter
and I think Tommynaut is really hot I'm going crazy. OH ALSO uh I do like Doug's works but I don't condone
him supporting NFTS and being a LITTLE odd on SNS ;; I found that out recently and I'm extremely upset because
he seemed really cool in the making-of video included with the Neverhood, but I live by the principle
"like the work, not the creator." Plus this was made in 1996 so obviously things have changed lol.

You know what this page looks like trash so I won't link it because I'm evil. I guess if you saw my profile you
could find it, but after good luck. I might delete this honestly because it's so cringe.

Oh also I would kill for any of these two physically :] I'm being serious my collector heart goes beserk over obscure anime merchandise or
physical copies of obscure games. I wonder if I have a problem since I like obscure things too much...

All in all this is a really fun franchise even if there's barely anything on it anymore so I decided to fill the Neverhood-shaped hole
in my peabrain with Catscratch, my recent hyperfixation also made by Doug Tennapel. I will ALSO like to kill for this Klaymen keychain
so if anyone has one I will literally cry if you're willing to give it to me :]
