Naoto Hayashibara

Totally not undead shy older twin of Kaho

Character information

I may have a problem since a lot of my characters are shy, but he's so cute! Naoto originally died of pneumonia but was brought back to life by Kaho. His whole concept actually comes from a name I use instead of my real name heehee, while his appearance came after since I wanted to make Lolita-style twin ocs/v-tuber designs for fun. In fact he used to be a tall silent character wearing a kimono and had CRAZY long hair. He and Kaho are now my main ocs next to Amari :]

Born just minutes before Kaho, Naoto was born quite ill and was frequently bedridden when alive. He is very shy around others, both from isolation and taking after his mother. When he was well enough to walk or in-between homeschooling, Naoto often played games outside with Kaho. He is very sweet though, and spent his time with her, even on his deathbed. During a harsh autumn, Naoto succumbed to pneumonia and passed away early one morning, leaving Kaho distraught yet determined to bring her brother back. Eventually, he was revived and rose out of his casket as a vampire. Despite terrifying his parents when he returned, Naoto was welcomed back with Kaho despite his affliction. As a vampire, he rarely comes outside to play with Kaho, but roams the Parisian streets with her at night. During the daytime, Naoto likes reading books with his father, helping Kaho learn Japanese, and playing chess with his mother.

Notes on vampirism: Along with Kaho, he is neither a true vampire or an adult, which also causes him not to feel the need to feed on human blood. Unlike his sister he is weaker to the sun, but has the same temperament at night. Naoto's wounds also heal quickly, but to make up for it he must eat more than Kaho as his immune system is weak. It seems Naoto recieved half of the side effects of vampirism, while Kaho recieved the other half.
