Meiko Kojima

A very special OC

Character information

Meiko here is a little special, as she was the very first main oc I ever created! I made her all the way back in fifth grade (2018), but back then she was named Melon Mochi because believe it or not I liked object shows heehee ^^; I'm honestly a bit embarrassed about sharing her, but then again it really was a part of me, so I'll share it for you :D Her design changed so much, but maybe that's because she's one of my real-world characters, where I created her and she grew up with me heehee. Actually, what brought up this special page was the fact yesterday as I'm writing this on August 15th, was her 19th birthday! I still think she's adorable so have fun meeting my very first main oc!

Born to a Japanese-American family, Meiko is probably the most friendly and relaxed person you'll meet! Meiko is actually from Los Angeles, but had to move when she was nine after her father got transferred to Portland for the police. She really loves her family, so more often than not she visits Japan with her parents to see her relatives. Meiko (as her object name suggests) is a huge fan of melon flavored sweets and the color green, so much so that she even dyed her hair the color when she was younger! As a child, she was enamored by the brightness of Japanese fashion in real life and anime, leading her to pursue a career in fashion once she graduated. Currently, she works retail at a department store and is taking online community college classes, but soon she's hoping to send her portfolio to a fashion design school once it's completed.
