Don is... well, a demon XD I'm a sucker for demon/angel duos, so after drawing Ciel I really, really, wanted to give her a big brother. Maybe it's because I have older brothers, but I really like the dynamic of siblings! I feel like I make them a lot though ^^; Don was originally an archangel in the Heavens, but after being wrongly accused of an unforgivable crime, he was banished to the mortal realm and became a fallen angel/demon- but accidentally took Ciel with him. He thinks he's scary so he stays away from humans, but Ciel, being the ray of light she is, takes him out anyways on outings (to which humans think he looks cool if intimidating).

Don was once a well-respected and admired archangel who governed the gates of the Heavens to the Underworld. However on one fateful day a demon warlord escaped and caused the death of many angels, resulting Don to be persecuted and banished from his world. While being chased, Don found Ciel's lily and tried to use it as a shield to protect himself from the Beam of Damnation, but it was too late and she emerged right as he was shot, sending both to the mortal realm. Traumatized by his persecution and causing the deaths of the citizens he cared about, and the guilt of stealing away Ciel's angelic future made Don fall into a deep depression and vow to always take care of her. He loves her as a sister, and despite being an angel Ciel still loves him as a brother, not being taught to always hate them. Somewhere though, a persecutor was assigned to come to the mortal realm; in order to find and exterminate Don.
