Chinatsu

Character information

Chinatsu is probably about as Heisei Retro as I can make a character! She probably encompasses most of what I like in fashion, which is definitely a lot of greens, plaids, and small decorations that aren't too big or cumbersome like badges. I honestly wish I could dress like her! As always, Chinatsu was a design I drew on a whim one day... I tend to do that a lot, hm? Her design hasn't changed much actually, the only thing I can think of actually is her color scheme, which went from utilizing red and blue to different shades of green. I love the new "natural feel" she has! I'm a sucker for retro items also, so I hope her taste in said vintage goods and characters will put a smile on anyone who has the same taste as her!

Hailing from a small seaside town in Hiroshima Prefecture, Chinatsu definitely knows how to have fun in her relatively slow-paced life! Every day she finds something new to take a photo of, whether it be a stray cat, an elderly couple, or even a wildflower growing inside of the sidewalk in order to let her passion of photography bloom. Despite this passion, Chinatsu is actually quite confused on what she wants to do next as a new graduate, but she always seems to forget about her troubles with a click from her camera and the kind smiles of her siblings. At home, Chinatsu is the middle of three and is quite close to her sister and brother, who also share strong passions in modeling and soccer, respectively. Outside of photography, Chinatsu is rarely seen without her green newsboy cap, her favorite article of clothing due to the can badges decorating the sides, and her retro camera shaped like a juice can. Likewise, she's also never seen without her signature cheeky smile, something she seems to have inherited from her grandmother.
