Hello Hello Hello!

This is my introduction!

Hello hello hello everyone I'm Amari :D (fully AmariHBNK) I created this website about two years ago. Originally, this going to be like a Japanese web-themed
"art project" (similar to nana825763's works), but I decided against it recently and revamped the whole site to fit my liking towards a still Japanese-web theme,
but more in-tune with kawaii culture, lolita, and Heisei Retro. Honestly, I'm glad because the old website wasn't connecting with me.
Please refer to me in gender neutral ways since I'm not comfortable sharing my gender online.

I'm currently in my sophmore year of high school, which is 高校１年生 if you know Japanese, and my birthday is December 21st.
I'm a very shy person, so it's hard for me to connect or even talk to others without thinking I don't belong or am weird, I barely have any friends
because of this. It's funny though, since I feel like I'm the embodiment of the trope where a big scary character likes baking and cute animals.
Other than that, I've been a fan of Japanese media like anime and dramas since I was around five or six.
I especially liked shows like Ouran, Lucky Star, Umaru, and Precure, so I guess that's basically why old SoL/Shoujo shows are my entire personality.
Along with this, I always got manga from the library of the same genre, so some other series I was really into was Yotsubato and whichever manga looked
the cutest to me that my mom was okay with (lol). I'm most likely a bitter old man trapped in the body of a sixteen year old.

Some more things I like besides obscure manga and anime are pretty normal I suppose, like drawing (obviously).
As you can probably tell, I'm REALLY into collecting little trinkets and toys, specifically keychains and figures.
I'm not the type to collect anime figures of popular characters or plushes, so what I look for is more obscure/older
series that I like more. Not that there's anything wrong with the easier to get things, I just prefer
my obscure interests lol. The only downside is mostly everything is crazy expensive.

Let's see, I'm also really into Lolita fashion, and although I can't practice it in real life, researching and creating dream outfits is still fun to me.
A big part of these interests also stem from my studying of Japanese culture. I know I might sound like a Japanophile or a weeb or whatever,
so I'm a bit nervous on actually sharing my interests since I don't want to be included with these groups. I do think learning about their culture
is interesting, and along with this I hope when I get older I can become a teacher over there.
